“The moon, like a flower in heaven’s high bower, with silent delight sits and smiles on the night.” William Blake
Red, black, blue, mead, strawberry moon, the ever-enigmatic moon has always inspired mystery and fascination. The ancient believed the moon controlled water and dreams, and that its dark side was linked to the occult. Its brilliant presence in the night sky was seen as a beacon of hope and enlightenment.
We dedicate BMIMAG #30 to the splendid moon, as 20 July 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first humans landing on its surface. She is everyone’s favourite celestial body, beautiful and alluring, close enough for astronauts to explore, and yet distant enough still to hold many mysteries.
With her nocturnal dominance and shimmering power, the moon shines on Blue Marlin Ibiza’s seafront terrace, remaining a symbol of enchantment, rebirth and strength, a source of celebration and magic. Blending the moonshine with the finest musical selection, Blue Marlin Ibiza’s entertainment experience promises to be a spectacle of sight and sound.
